My son, Chip, who pastors with his wife, Candace, A Glorious Church Fellowship in Collinsville, Oklahoma called me last week excited about what he was going to preach to his congregation. Of course, my heart was happy as he preached it first to me on the phone. He’d heard a minister say that the Chinese word for “crisis” is made up of two words. (If I’m not mistaken that would be two picture words.) One meaning “danger,” and the other, “opportunity.” In other words in every crisis while there is danger, there is opportunity.

I’ve had two impacting phone calls in the past two days. The first one this morning was from my son, Chip. He preached me what the Lord downloaded into him after he woke up one morning actually feeling the despair and hopelessness people, especially those who don’t know or act on God’s Word, are experiencing in the wake of all the bad news they are hearing. He walked outside, began to praise and thank God for everything he saw. And the Lord literally downloaded into him a message and a plan to help people. And it is GOOD NEWS!

Most of us gathered 5 smooth stones from the brook to take home. Chip easily got into the telling the account of probably his favorite O.T. hero. We looked up at the hills where the opposing armies encamped. Then, some of the group saw lights flash in the sky. It was the Iron Dome defense system taking out rockets being launched from Gaza just a few miles to the West.

This study-heavy tour, the first of its kind, will make a superb online course.Days we travelled and videoed with an amazing group of 88 students.Nights I prepared for the next day.
Because I strongly believe in God’s purpose and power for our younger generation, I strongly support and take part in something that happens every summer in Branson. A number of years ago, the Lord told my son, Chip, to start a youth rally in Branson, Missouri. This year, Champions 4 Christ Youth Rally is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

My heart is thrilled to think our classroom has grown to include people I could never get to for an in-depth teaching session. One where we go into the Word of God and look deeply into its treasures—especially with a prophetic eye-view into the scriptures which tell the end from the beginning.

We are teaching 3BI courses in a hotel in Branson, January 13-17.
The way I prepare the courses is to teach them in a live classroom setting. Then they are edited to become on-line courses. Right now we need more students to attend the Branson classes in January. Usually we teach out at Prayer Mountain, but since it is cold in January, and mountain roads can be slippery, we are looking forward to staying at the hotel and having classes there. Our students are so blessed, not only with the study, but with the camaraderie. At the end of this blog, you can see how to apply. Suggestion! You might give the gift of this 3BI class to someone as a Christmas Gift. Or even to yourself! Plus, it will be an inspiration to me to have you present as I teach!
