Following the FBI fiasco in the unprecedented raid of President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home, we rallied the WWP Prayer Force for an emergency corporate execution of The Authority of the Believer. While each one of us has habitational authority we are to use daily, together this authoritative power is exponentially increased. Even though because of technical difficulties we gave short notice, I was pleasantly shocked at the representation!
In 1981 I edited a book for Dr. Lester Sumrall entitled then You Hold the Reins.
I’d misplaced my copy and wanted to refer to the original edition for the upcoming class. I ordered it online and I had to pay $74.00. Today I was reading it and several things impacted me. Dr. Sumrall indeed knew how to take his dominion, his authority. The following quote I posted on Twitter:
“There never was a Goliath capable of standing before any of God’s David’s.
The devil cannot create an image of strength which God’s people cannot destroy.”
The Lord told Kenneth E. Hagin that whatever happened in America happened because the church allowed it to happen. In that light consider the following from Dr. Sumrall:
“The most powerful living organism on the earth today is the Church—the very Body of Christ.”
Poetry is an under-appreciated art form in modern times. God used it in the Hebrew of the Older Testament. Much of the original Hebrew rhymes. There are also many “plays on words.” All this is missed in translations.This morning I read again the following anonymous poem from the front of The Authority of the Believer by John A. MacMillan. If every individual in the Body of Christ would make the last two lines their confession, we would make huge strides in our development into the image of the Master.
Yesterday I texted the following to many pastors and leaders in the Body of Christ:
I’d like to share a challenge Pat Robertson issued one day this week on The 700 Club. He appeared to be livid. You could almost imagine smoke coming out his ears. He exclaimed how can this inert little bug hold such sway when we are the Church of the Living God. The Body of Christ, which has been given dominion. He dramatically challenged pastors over the nation to have their congregations take authority over the coronavirus this Resurrection Sunday.
I believe if pastors and congregations will take Pat’s challenge and join together we can take that virus down in a precipitous decline. One that will demonstrate something supernatural happened.
Pat Robertson made an impassioned plea today on 700 Club for Pastors and all believers next Sunday, Resurrection Sunday to take their authority over the Corona Virus and stop it in its tracks.
