Our prayers avail much in the economy of God. I contacted our office to ask them to get out the urgent prayer request as a terrorist was shooting at that very time in Tel Aviv. Today we know that two young Israeli men were shot dead—a 27-year-old and a 28-year-old. They were lifelong friends from the same town. One was engaged to be married soon. Another headline read, “Instead of a Wedding, a Funeral.”

In 1981 I edited a book for Dr. Lester Sumrall entitled then You Hold the Reins.
I’d misplaced my copy and wanted to refer to the original edition for the upcoming class. I ordered it online and I had to pay $74.00. Today I was reading it and several things impacted me. Dr. Sumrall indeed knew how to take his dominion, his authority. The following quote I posted on Twitter:

“There never was a Goliath capable of standing before any of God’s David’s.
The devil cannot create an image of strength which God’s people cannot destroy.”

The Lord told Kenneth E. Hagin that whatever happened in America happened because the church allowed it to happen. In that light consider the following from Dr. Sumrall:

“The most powerful living organism on the earth today is the Church—the very Body of Christ.”

Minneapolis-St Paul Area & “The Soul of This Nation”

On our Wednesday 8 AM Prayer Call, someone from Minneapolis urgently asked us to pray about the tragedy that occurred Monday May 25th. A video recorded the senseless choking to death of George Floyd by one policeman while others stood by doing nothing to stop it.I immediately thought of a word from the Lord that I’d received about God’s plan for the area. I said to the prayer call participants, “I’ll see if I can locate it, and I’ll post it later.” But without even getting up from my prayer chair, I looked into a woven basket at my feet. It contains Bibles and things I’m studying along with a couple of small note books to write prayer notes or things I receive from the Lord. There it was!
