 Migdal Arbel

 FIRST SIGHT!

Astonished! Pleasantly shocked! Downright flabbergasted! I cannot even begin to describe my emotions as we drove up and saw the BIG, HIGH buildings that are growing to be the Migdal Arbel Prayer and Study Center!

The construction (two months ahead of schedule and under budget) has so progressed since we were here December 11. Exactly six months. Even Guy was surprised. It is evident the hand of God is on the project.

We were told that construction sites are often visited with unexpected inspections. The afternoon before, an inspector showed up. He asked, “How many men do you have working today?” They answered, “Eight.” He marveled. “That’s eight more than any of the sites I went to this morning.” The war has stopped many projects. But not this one.

Lynne Hammond, who has been with me from the beginning, wept profusely! It was her first time to see it since building began.

FAITH BECOMES SIGHT!

When I say “faith,” the Lord made me to know something as I prayed in my room before we went to the site. Though He commended my faith, He made me to know that my own faith would never be enough for this assignment. He let me know that He had granted me the “Gift of Faith,” one of the nine gifts of the Spirit. The measure of faith given to each of us is enough to get us born again. Then, if fed with the Word and exercised in the Spirit, great things can be accomplished through it. But for this, and for me, it took “The Gift of Faith.” Brother Hagin described it as “special faith.” It was with that Gift, dropped down in me, that I was able to hold on all these years.

He said to me in my room on the Sea of Galilee, “Many miracles were done around these shores. Migdal Arbel will be one more.” And then came a long and wonderfully encouraging word I will share at Wednesday Prayer when I get home.

FROM A NAPKIN TO AMAZING REALITY!

Years ago, the Lord gave me the plan for Migdal Arbel as I prayed in my Prayer Chair. I drew it in simple squares in a little yellow journal. Then, years ago, as we sat in Israel, I attempted to draw it for Rani Levy on a napkin.

I was remembering that at the site, when Heather Bergstrom exclaimed, “I was there! I think I have photos on my phone.” She did. And I am posting them here. I am not an architect or an artist—stick figures are the best I can do when attempting to illustrate people. So you can see how shocked I was to see these buildings with their beautiful views solidifying what I attempted to portray on a napkin!

77 Rooms!

A few months back, Nir Kimchi called. A moment of decision had arisen. Migdal Arbel can serve as a place for others besides us, but to do so and to pay for itself, we needed to increase the number of rooms. He could do it simply by going up, adding floors. He proposed the number to be 66. I said, “We can’t have that!” And so I prayed. The Lord gave the go-ahead. So I chose 70 as a good number. Nir came back and said it worked out to  make it 77 rooms.

Some of you may remember one of the first offerings we received for the project at an Autumn Assembly in Branson. The Lord spoke to me specifically to tell the people to participate in increments of seven. Seven dollars. Seventy dollars. Seventy-seven dollars! Seven hundred dollars! Etc. That offering was especially blessed, bringing blessings to the project and, I believe, blessings to the givers.

I was reminded of that offering when I immediately said to Nir, “Yes! That’s right!” Nir and the architect explained to us in the construction office just how the additions would be made.

ON THE WINDY SEA!!!

We got a little idea of how the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) can be a little rough, though it is not the time of storms. Yet, as we read the Scripture of the Lord’s calming the sea, our experience with the choppy waters certainly gave us a greater appreciation of what Jesus did that day so long ago.

Overjoyed, Billye, I can understand your astonishment seeing these buildings before your eyes. I have laughed in the Spirit with laughter! Lynn, I can imagine, sweet lady of prayer, how the joy rolled out in tears. What you ladies accomplished will stand in history, in this age and the one to come!
This prayer call morning, so enjoyed hearing some of the tour moments you shared. The man from Singapore baptized in the Jordan at the exact moment, 9:00 am when sirens sounded, Baptized under fire!!! For sure, the Osage pastor who was performing the baptisms. Oh, and the eagles flying right over you. Can’t wait until we can hear more stories when you return.
This was another war-time ministry tour not to be forgotten.

Miss Billye it’s going to be beautiful! I’m so excited for you and the vision God gave you. Can hardly wait to go back and see it growing and getting ready to bloom, since 2015 when our group did a dedication to that sight, with the Pearson’s and your family. I will never forget! I was thinking too, that since many other projects in israel have stopped, it’s probably allowed supplies to be readily available and not detained. God is SO amazing. Shalom Shalom Save and blessed travels home.

Glory be to God! This is beautiful and so exciting! Thank you for sharing what the Lord told you about Him giving you the special gift of faith for this. How reassuring to know He provides even His own faith to accomplish His plans; that gives us all such rest and hope in our own lives as well. This is all so powerful and a demonstration of His grace, glory, and power. I simply cannot wait to behold this in person. I’ve been praying for you and this trip all along and with the WWPs as always. Blessings on the remainder of your trip and on Migdal Arbel!

Sister Billye, I love you so much and have followed you from the early 2000’s when you started being on Believers Voice of Victory with Sister Gloria Copeland.
I listened to the 2 cd series Heavenly Jerusalem and Judgement of the Nations and they were so helpful in preparing me to go to Israel in 2004.
I’m wondering if you will still receive my offering of $77.00 so I can be part of the Migdal Arbel project.
Gods greatest blessings be upon you and this sanctified project.

    It is a beautiful thing

  39. Terry Marie Parrott on June 14, 2024 at 1:33 am

Sis Billye, what a thrilling sight!
I was preparing for time with the Lord when your update came through, and I too, like Lynn burst into tears, as the love of Jesus washed over me. His Spirit was revealing the “covering” and “favor” He has placed over this property; the 77 rooms are not a coincidence, but ordained by the Lord. What rejoicing that cannot be put into words! The people of Israel have no idea what blessings will be poured out through this facility!!!
There is an anointing that will flow out when the doors open, and those that work on this project will be blessed in a special way, too. I took communion, & had a beautiful time of prayer and worship; and there is such “peace” flowing all around.
Love you, & Blessings as you continue to walk out His will! 🤗

Thank you for sharing all these wonderful pictures and updates of what the Lord is doing at Migdal Arbel. Somewhere I have an early picture of Migdal Arbel when I was on a tour with Pastor David Pizzimenti just after you and Lynn miraculously purchased the property. We stopped there to pray because Israel had been in a 3 year drought. Pastor David said you had just purchased this property and it was to become a place of prayer. We prayed on that land until we felt the Holy Spirit release us. Our tour guide and our bus driver both thought we were all crazy. That night around midnight we were awakened by lightening and thunder. It rained all night. We went from crazy people from America to our tour guide and driver telling everyone they came in contact about the miracle God brought through prayer. I believe we were blessed to be His vessels in united prayer in one of the early miracles in prayer at Migdal Arbel. I know there will be countless more!

I was not aware of the story of the offering you received at Autumn Assembly years ago asking for gifts with the number “7”. The Lord put on my heart to give monthly to Migdal and when I asked for a figure, He spoke $77.88. I thought the $77 was declaring it is complete. I now I know it was also for the 77 rooms. The 88 he spoke to me was for “new beginnings”. I believe it is a place the Body of Christ will come, be refreshed, draw closer to the Lord and leave with “new spiritual/physical beginnings”. In addition, and I believe so important, for the Jews that will find this place to be their Goshen in the not too distant future. I have great expectation this will be supernaturally completed very soon, way ahead of schedule and under budget!!!

  57. Candi Thomas on June 26, 2024 at 9:38 am

Sister Billye, you says you read the blog. I am on your prayer call on Wednesday both time. Lord, show me to not just read the the verses separately when given together but to also read them together example today call : 2 Corinthians 2:4 and 2 Peter 3:9, when examined together, offer insights into the heart of God towards His people, reflecting both His desire for their well-being and His patience towards humanity. Let’s explore these verses more closely to understand their messages.

    **2 Corinthians 2:4** states:
“For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.”

In this verse, Paul is expressing his deep care and concern for the Corinthian church. The context of this passage is Paul addressing various issues within the church, including challenges and misunderstandings that had caused tension between him and some of the Corinthian believers. Paul’s goal in addressing these issues so forthrightly was not to cause pain or grief but rather to demonstrate his profound love and commitment to their spiritual well-being. His words were written from a place of “affliction and anguish of heart,” underscoring the sincerity and depth of his concern for them. This verse highlights how godly correction and difficult conversations are often rooted in love, aiming for the growth and strengthening of the faith community.

    **2 Peter 3:9** says:
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

This passage speaks to the character of God, particularly His patience and desire for all people to come to repentance. Peter is addressing concerns that some were having about the apparent delay in the Lord’s return. Peter reassures them that what might seem like a delay is actually a demonstration of God’s patience. God’s timing is governed by His mercy, giving people the opportunity to turn to Him. The verse reflects God’s heart, emphasizing that His desire is for no one to perish but for everyone to have the chance to repent and receive eternal life. This patience of God underscores the importance He places on individual choices and the value of each person coming to a saving knowledge of Him.

When considered together, 2 Corinthians 2:4 and 2 Peter 3:9 reveal the depth of God’s love and His desire for reconciliation and restoration. Paul’s personal anguish over the Corinthian church and his efforts to guide them back to right living reflect a microcosm of God’s larger plan of salvation and His patience with humanity. Both verses showcase the balance between truth and love, correction and patience, ultimately aimed at bringing individuals to a closer relationship with God.

He give us 2 Corinthians 2:4 twice but I believe cause of what he is saying give it with Rev 15:2 example 2 Corinthians 2:14 and Revelation 15:2 both speak to the themes of triumph and victory, albeit in different contexts. Let’s explore each verse individually.

    **2 Corinthians 2:14** says:
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

In this verse, Paul expresses gratitude to God for the triumphant victory believers have in Christ. It highlights the idea that through Christ, believers are led in a victory procession, spreading the knowledge of God like a fragrant aroma. This imagery draws on Roman triumphal processions where the scent of incense would fill the air. Here, the fragrance represents the knowledge of God being spread everywhere by the apostles and Christians. It’s a celebration of the divine victory over sin and death, and the role of believers in making the presence and power of God known in the world.

    **Revelation 15:2** says:
“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.”

This verse is part of a vision of heaven and the end times. It describes those who have emerged victorious over the beast and its system, a symbol of opposition to God and His people. The “sea of glass mingled with fire” likely symbolizes purity and judgment, and those standing on it are the faithful who have remained loyal to God amidst persecution and trials. Their victory is celebrated in a heavenly context, indicating their eternal reward and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The imagery is rich with the themes of judgment, purification, and the final defeat of all that opposes God.

Together, these verses affirm the theme of God’s people achieving victory through faithfulness and divine empowerment. While 2 Corinthians 2:14 focuses on the spreading of the Gospel and the spiritual victory in Christ, Revelation 15:2 looks forward to the eschatological victory over evil. Both verses encourage believers to remain steadfast, highlighting the triumph that comes through God’s power and the fulfillment of His promises.

I was hit with some news from my son Logan who is not walking with the Lord. I really believers to stand with me in prayer for miracle of his salvation. I can not say here. Lord knows. It is critical moment in his life now. Oh, Father give me wisdom how to pray for You to win this victory in Jesus name.

Billye – in 2017 I joined you on a trip to Isreal- the only person from Canada. I sat beside you on the grounds of Migdel – I was surprised there were no buildings. Your unwavering faith changed that – in the 7 years since that time I marvel with what God has done. I am so blessed to be a wwp . Thank you Billye

In your recounting of decision-making and seeking guidance, it’s reminiscent of the principle found in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” It’s a reminder that when faced with decisions, big or small, seeking divine guidance can lead to outcomes that align with a greater plan, sometimes even exceeding initial expectations.

Your story also echoes the importance of numbers in the Bible, where numbers often hold symbolic significance. The number 70, for instance, is associated with completeness or a period of judgment and restoration, seen in contexts such as the 70 years of Babylonian exile before the restoration of Israel (Jeremiah 29:10). The choice of 77 rooms, expanding beyond the initially intended 70, could be seen as a gesture of grace and completeness, echoing the concept of forgiveness “seventy-seven times” mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 18:22.

This account showcases faith in action, demonstrating trust in a higher plan and being open to outcomes that may initially seem beyond reach. It serves as an encouragement to rely not solely on human wisdom or ability but to seek and trust in divine guidance and providence.
