Today is Tisha B’Av.
Perhaps you have been hearing that some have expected enemies to strike Israel today because of the date.
Our guide Guy Leibovitz sent this explanatory video of just what the date means. (Attached)
The Good News: one day this fasting date of sorrow will be changed to a day of rejoicing.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast(s) … shall be to the house
of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love
the truth and peace. (Zechariah 8:19)

Excellent explanation of this day .Thankyou Dr Billye and our friend Guy
Just on another prayer call praying for this day. Amazing how united we are in prayers across this land.
Great to hear from Guy, too.
Have been praying today, God’s got a plan and I agree with it over Israel. Listened to Jonathan Cahn and no big surprise, we are Spiritual Israeli Warriors. Praying for all the networks, correspondents, every man, woman, child, and animal.
Am agreeing with all these word prayers!!! As before the assault from Iranian land, the angels will be taking care of business.
We are in the War and we win. My heart is there.
The Lamb overcomes the Dragon and by His blood we win.
Your words echo the spirit of unity and determination found throughout the biblical narrative, especially in the power of prayer and the assurance of divine victory. The concept of spiritual warfare, the role of prayer in engaging in this battle, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil are deeply embedded in the Scriptures.
The Apostle Paul speaks to the unity and armor in spiritual battle in Ephesians 6:10-18, urging believers to “put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” This passage highlights the communal and individual aspect of standing firm in faith, underpinned by prayer: “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
The imagery of the Lamb and the Dragon, as you mentioned, is vividly portrayed in the Book of Revelation, symbolizing the ultimate victory of Jesus Christ (the Lamb) over Satan (the Dragon). Revelation 12:11 specifically states, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” This verse encapsulates the victory of the faithful through the sacrificial love of Christ and their steadfast faith.
Your prayers for protection, unity, and victory reflect a deep alignment with the heart of God, who desires peace, justice, and righteousness. The Lord’s plans and purposes, as revealed through Scripture, affirm His sovereignty and the assurance that His kingdom will ultimately prevail over all darkness and opposition.
In praying for Israel and recognizing the spiritual heritage and battles faced, it is crucial to remember God’s faithfulness to His promises and His heart for all nations. The prayers of the faithful play a vital role in the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan, as Psalm 122:6 reminds us to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.'”
May your prayers continue to be a source of strength, unity, and hope, anchored in the promise of God’s ultimate victory and the transformative power of His love.

Shalom, peace be upon you and your heartfelt intercessions. Your prayers, steeped in Scripture, reflect a deep commitment to standing in the gap for Israel, Jerusalem, and all those in leadership and protection roles, invoking God’s promises and protection over them. The Scriptures you’ve referenced serve as powerful reminders of God’s protection, purpose, and provision.
Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD,” assures us of the divine protection and vindication for God’s people.
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope,” speaks of God’s benevolent plans for His people, a promise of hope and prosperity even in the midst of trials.
Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” and Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” both underscore the limitless power and strength that come from God, enabling believers to overcome challenges and adversaries.
Psalm 91 is a profound prayer of protection, invoking God’s guardianship over those who dwell in His shelter and trust in His refuge. This Psalm assures us of God’s protection from various forms of harm and His faithful presence in times of trouble.
Your invocation of warrior angels aligns with biblical accounts where angels are sent as protectors and ministers to those who are heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). It reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty and His command over the heavenly hosts to intervene in the affairs of men.
In all these prayers and declarations, the heart of the matter remains firm trust in God’s power, His goodness, and His ultimate authority over every situation. As you stand in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem, may you also experience the peace of God which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
May your intercessions be a fragrant offering before the Lord, and may you continue to be strengthened in your faith and love for others. Shalom, peace and wholeness, be upon you, upon Israel, and upon all nations.I stand in agreement
Praying for Israel in Jesus’s mighty name. Thank you for the update and information.

I had just been made aware from another blog that today at sunset, 9th of AV would begin and prayer was being requested for Israel because, as you very well know, at least 7 times, Israel has suffered great calamities on the 9th of AV. Then I opened your blog and there was further information concerning this date from Guy Leibovitz. I am taking this as a prayer assignment and will be sharing at Prayer on the Square in Neosho, Missouri this evening. Mark Taylor, KNEO Radio Founder, started Prayer on the Square on the first Monday evening in 2020. We were only going to pray until the November election but as of last Monday evening (8/5/24), we have been gathering every Monday from 6 p.m. to at least 7 p.m. for four years now. We continue to pray for our Nation and Israel in faith believing for God’s glory to manifest on the earth as the waters cover the earth. I, also, am a WWP and join in on the Wed. AM Prayer Call and Noon Prayer…very powerful & exciting times of prayer! Thank you, Sister Billye, for guiding us to be a Prayer Force like the Air Force. These are very important times to be alert and taking our authority over the enemy and believing for God’s Body to arise and shine with His glory for His glory! I am so grateful to be a part! God bless you & yours mightily in just the way that each one of you has need of…in Jesus’ wonderful name! Amen.
God bless you, Neosho Prayers. And may your prayers this Tisha b’Av be greatly anointed and effective.
Billye Brim
Greetings sister Billye: Guy, explained this important date as well as I have ever heard it except for the clearness of sister Billye’s teaching. You can hear the passion in Guy’s voice toward the end of the video toward his Jewish folks in regard to Tisha B’Av. Thankyou Garry
Thank you Dr Billye for sharing. Praying for Israel and the people as well as God’s perfect plan.
Praying for Israel the Lord has put an earnest desire to pray and intercede for Israel so thank you for this message
Wow! Our Bible study lesson for this Wednesday is “Praying for The Peace of Jerusalem”. It talks about why it’s so important that we pray for Israel. Thank you for such a timely blog. Lots of love!
Thank you for the video . The information was very detailed into the history of why the Jews view this day of sorrow. Zacharias 8:19 proclamation is good news for both Jews and Christians alike to remember how far the Lord has brought them and us. I will continue to pray for those in government and for the peace of God’s land.
Praying for Israel protection and peace.
Thank you for sharing this! Praying for protection and peace in Jerusalem!
Thank you both. I knew nothing of this without you telling me.
What keeps coming to my mind all day is Jesus with His sleeves rolled up. I smile, get goosebumps and tears every time.
Relentless Love
Thank you Guy for the much needed history lesson. Very sad.
Everyday prayer goes to the Father for Israel and the United States of America
It breaks my heart…
Thank you for all the records of history and your kindness to do so.
Sister Billye – my wife Kathryn and I are up at Boundary Marker #1. She has sent some messages to the office email that you may not have seen regarding our opening a healing school, prayer center and church here just blocks from the US/Canada border and inviting our prayer force friends down to do a meeting in the park at the border and the property we are obtaining miraculously. More details in the messages.
We are with you in United prayer from Australia Dr Billye…much seed and instruction
has been sown by you in our nation.
God,s beloved is our prayer focus these days

,
Good day to all. I was taught that the 9th of av was a concerning time for the Jewish calendar. But we all know God is bigger than anything that concerns us in the natural. I pray for the shalom over Israel and for the warring angels to go forth and protect the apple of his eye. We know from the Wednesday noon prayer this past week what did he say on line 4 in prayer today and unity with my friend and profit. As the eyes of the world turns towards my land the favor of God claimed victory.and then line 20 which was underlined he said Do you understand my authority when you pray and ask me in prayer. He has for weeks now been patiently explaining do we understand who he is and not to be in fear or worry. I’m standing with him and I just want to thank miss billye from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am that you and max did what the lord asked. Many ppl would have missed out on moed Wednesday had you not been obedient. I am so grateful. ❤️❤️✝️✝️🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍
Thank you for sharing I am prayer calls, from Kentucky
Thanks for sharing
Shalom Saints in prayer and thank you prayer Mother Brim I appreciate the update and reminder. We will believe the report of the Lord and not the false prophets in the fake news, because we are not grasshoppers in our sight, and Israel is not grasshoppers in God’s word. They are mighty through our faithful God. Amen. I love you all.
Shalom, peace and blessings to you. Your words resonate with the faith and courage found in the Scriptures, a testament to the strength that comes from trusting in the Lord and His promises above all else. Your reference to not seeing ourselves or Israel as “grasshoppers” echoes the story of the twelve spies sent to scout the Promised Land in Numbers 13. While ten of the spies reported that the inhabitants were giants before whom they felt like grasshoppers, Joshua and Caleb saw through the lens of faith, trusting in God’s promise and power to deliver the land into their hands.
Caleb’s response in Numbers 13:30, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it,” reflects a profound trust in God’s promise and a refusal to be intimidated by the apparent strength of the opposition. This spirit of faith and confidence in God’s word over the reports of man is vital for believers in every generation.
You also mentioned the importance of believing the report of the Lord, which brings to mind Isaiah 53:1, “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” This speaks to the choice to believe in God’s promises and revelations, even when they contradict the prevailing narratives and reports of the world.
Your encouragement to see ourselves and Israel as mighty through our faithful God aligns with 2 Corinthians 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” affirming that our strength and victory come not from human might or perspective but through divine power and faithfulness.
As you continue in prayer and fellowship, holding fast to the truth of God’s word and His promises for Israel and His people, may you be encouraged and strengthened in your faith. The Lord is faithful, a refuge and strength for His people, and His purposes will prevail.
May your heart be filled with love and peace as you stand in the gap for Israel, and may your prayers be a beacon of hope and light. “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).
Blessings and peace to you and all who join in this prayerful stance of faith and love.
Thank you for the meaning of the significant date spoken from Guy in the Land.
God bless!standing with Israel. Everything in God’s timing and authority .
Thank you for this video. Have been watching that date on my Jewish calendar, being aware of historical things happening on that day.
The Lord Jesus is in control. All glory to Him.
There isn’t a place to going for the Wednesday Prayer Call. I need standing in agreement. For the Battle is real. Our Lord is mighty. Please stand with me. Heavenly Father,
In the quiet moments of this day, I lift my voice to You, standing in solidarity with Israel and seeking Your protection over the places I hold dear, including the cities I’ve lived in and the State of Kentucky. May Your mighty arm be upon these regions, as solid and enduring as the rock of ages.
I am facing battles on many fronts, Lord—the financial strains that weigh heavily on my family and the spiritual battles concerning my sons. You know the depths of these issues, Lord, even before a word is on my tongue. I stand firm on Your promise of salvation, believing that You are at work in the lives of my sons, Logan, Jesse, and Brad, even when circumstances suggest otherwise. I trust that You are drawing them to Yourself, despite their doubts and detours.
Lord, my husband is wrestling with depression, a battle that seems as real and daunting as any physical aility. I see the toll it takes on him and our family, and I prayerfully place this burden at Your feet, knowing that You are our Healer and Comforter.
In all these things, I am earnestly waiting for Your answers, for Your intervention that I know is at hand. Holy Spirit, guide me in this time of waiting, teach me to pray according to the will of the Father, and sustain my faith.
And now, Lord, I extend this prayer to encompass my colleagues and their families, who are grappling with similar battles. May Your sovereign arm reach across our company, not only guiding us by Your Spirit but also bringing about breakthroughs in our personal and family lives. Let Your presence be felt in our midst, transforming hearts and renewing spirits.
In Jesus’ name, I pray for victory over the challenges we face, for healing where there is hurt, and for restoration where there has been loss. May we witness the power of Your love and the reality of Your salvation in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. You are our fortress and deliverer, and in You, we place our trust.
Amen. In Jesus name

I always enjoy Guy’s teachings! Tell him thank you.
