This is our last day (this trip) in the Land. And it is a very long day. We actually depart from Ben Gurion very early tomorrow morning. Agenda for the day includes packing, of course.
We ended up with much more than we came with. One big reason is that yesterday we took a leisurely trip to Ariel in the Shomron (Samaria).
Our first stop was with friends Estee and Nissim in our favorite shop in all the Land. Nissim is a well-known wedding dress designer. His taste as a buyer for his shop is unparalleled. Just ask Pastor Lynne Hammond. And he gives us amazing discounts. Practically give-away prices we cannot refuse!
Eshel Hashomron Hotel
The main focus for our trip yesterday was to visit our longtime friends, Menachem Gilboa and Tuvia Gelbard. And to encourage them to reopen their beautiful and strategically-located hotel. We were their first foreign guests in 1991. I remember how happy I was to learn there was a hotel where we could stay in the biblical heart of the Land. A place in the middle of Joshua’s conquests and near ancient Shiloh.
Yesterday, we reminisced about our more than thirty-year friendship. Menachem recalled how I said, “Can you take me to Shiloh?” He rehearsed how there was absolutely nothing there to be seen. But he took us. We have since been witness to huge archeological “digs” and a good deal of development of the ancient site.
Tovah passed away in 2020. With covid, terrorism and the war, and the passing of his beloved wife, Menachem has not opened the hotel since. As we met various leaders in Samaria, including the mayor of Ariel, we heard them lament the fact that the only hotel in the area was not available. And that it is much needed. So, I went to encourage Menachem. I believe he took heart. At any rate he is opening it for our trip in March.

Itโs a deal!!! Our tour will get to stay at the Eshel Hashomron in March.
Jeremiahโs Dungeon
Shelli and I had a very unique experience in the City of David in Jerusalem. We actually sat in the dungeon where Jeremiah was held. Of course, not under the same conditions. We were not sitting in the “mire,” but in comfortable chairs. We could look up and see the hole where they sent down the rope and cloths for Jeremiah to use when they pulled him out. (See Jeremiah 38:6โ13) More proof that the Bible is true and accurate.

One last business meeting with Nir Kimchi. Oh, how blessed we are to have this man and this firm. We discussed two options. First and the ideal: should the Lord provide the total cost needed tomorrow ($20ย million), we could be positioned there fully in eighteen months. Other options: move out the time to two years or more. While such figures were at one time off my radar screen, they are not now. To see what we will have for this amount is amazing. Especially in Israel. In comparison, Nir told of a deal he recently oversaw for a 2,000-square-foot apartment in an ideal locationโcost: $9.5 million.
And, of course, after the business meeting, we went out to eat.
Packing now (5:30 pm Monday). Leaving the hotel at 3 am Tuesday. Arriving in Newark at 11:45 am Tuesday. Branson soon thereafter.

We agree together and call in the $20m needed for the quicker finish! Thank you ministering spirits, that you go out and cause the funds to come in. You are closing deals, finding treasures, causing abundance of overflow and excess for people to give. We call in the HEAP$! Replenish the coffers. Touch people’s heart and nudge those that weren’t even thinking about the Migdal Arbel project to give. Lord, TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS is nothing to you so help us to increase our mindset, vision, and capacity to understand and receive what is ours in YOU.
I remember that hotel in Ariel and when the suiside bomber came into the lobby. They must open and be a blessing to the area. Menachem will have his heart and finances healed. There was a shooting range in Ariel where we shot Uzis. We fulfilled prophecy by planting vineyards.

I loved seeing the photos of Menachem. I loved the trip we had with you when we stayed in Ariel at Eshel Hashomron in Samaria. It was during the second Intifada and the hotel lobby had been blown up by a suicide bomber. They had just got it all back together. Tovah had recovered from her shrapnel wounds. It was such a testimony of their Resilience!
It was such a joy to see that they will open the hotel for you in March,
I trust the Lord directed you to encourage Menachem and Tuvia about the hotel.

Happy Birthday Sister Billye and welcome home from Israel. Have been part of prayer calls with the mountain since the beginning. When He gave us Brother Max we went to another level!!!!
