This is an Amazing Time to Pray “First of All”.

Host: Dr. Billye Brim

This is an Amazing Time to Pray “First of All” prayers from 1 Timothy 2:1-4. In 2019, elections will be held for the top leadership positions in 62 countries that will impact over 3 billion people.

Israel’s Elections: The Primaries on February 5; The General Elections on April 9. There are a lot of good parties running. The leader of the party with the most votes becomes the Prime Minister. Then negotiations begin with other parties until their “coalition” has a majority of seats in the Knesset — the Israeli legislature. Many different party leaders see the importance of a strong defense system in Israel. One of them is our friend, Moshe Ya’alon, former General and Chief of Staff of the IDF—the Israeli Defense Forces, who has spoken several times to our Israel Study Tour groups.

Prayer: for the Israeli Elections.

White House Prayer Call; Major Humanitarian Crisis: The Southern Border of America.
Vice-President Pence: We are so grateful for your prayers. The President wants to deal with health concerns with new medical technology… The President has chosen a holistic approach, including law reform, humanitarian assistance, and an attitude of negotiating and compromise. We ask as Solomon did, for a discerning heart. We ask that you lend support with your voice—tell the story—and ask your elected officials to come to the table.

Holy Spirit Prayer: The Southern Border of America; The Northern Border of Israel. There was a special emphasis on the safety of the American troops in the Middle East. Dr. Billye Brim, under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, spoke out: “Out of harm’s way!”

The Judgment Cup of the Nations. America drank a cup of judgment during the Civil War. She made it through the judgment. The Judgment Cup is spoken of in Psalm 75.

Psalm 75:7-10.
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.9 But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. [The “horns” are the authorities—leaders of the nations.]

The Words of the Prophet Jeremiah Were Taken by the Holy Spirit, and, Defying Time, Delivered a Cup of Judgment to All Nations. When God spoke through the Prophet Jeremiah—He considered it done! (The 70 original Nations, descended from Noah’s three sons, are listed in Genesis 10).

Jeremiah 25:14-17
For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them. Then took I the cup at the Lord’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the Lord had sent me.

Verses 18-25 list the nations that Jeremiah was sent to by God. Then in verse 26 God sends him “TO ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD…UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.”

Verses 30-31
Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.
