Shabbath, Jerusalem

With our two-bus tour finished….

{It was wonderful.

Seventy excited believers from Australia, Lithuania, Tanzania, Canada, and the USA enjoyed one of our best trips ever in the year of Israel’s 70th Anniversary. Probably 80% were first-timers.}

And with The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast finished….

{For two days representatives from 70 nations were received at the Knesset where we were addressed by leaders of Israel. President Rivlin came to The Orient Hotel and addressed us at our meeting site.

God is doing something wonderful with Jews and Christians.

I watch it in Awe.

Along with others, I got to pray from the platform twice.

And I got to teach two break-out sessions on “How To Pray For Israel.” Many nations were represented in these sessions.

I literally have to pinch myself when I consider the path from peeling potatoes in my kitchen in Collinsville, Oklahoma to having a part in such a momentous meeting in Jerusalem. Of course, the Lord uses the foolish and it brings Him Glory.

Shelli and I are taking a real Sabbath Rest.

After a nap, I looked out my ninth floor window upon Jerusalem.

Sabbath in Jerusalem is like no place else.

Cars are parked.

Very little traffic.

It is truly Shabbath Shalom.

Even in the midst of turmoil.

Friday evening, the beginning of Shabbath however, at 5 pm, we thought we would go to the Western Wall. The taxi driver kept telling us it was closed. So we asked to be taken to the Mamilla Mall entrance and we would walk from there. It too was closed. Policemen were all around.

Then I remembered, Hamas had called for widespread demonstrations on the Muslim Ramadan Friday coinciding with the day Jerusalem was united under Israeli control in 1967.

The Wall opened later for Shabbath worship.

But Shelli and I decided to come back to the hotel for the wonderful Shabbath meal.

The tables wear white tablecloths.

What a pleasure it is to hear the families singing together.

Everyone dressed up.

Listening as they pray over and receive the bread and the wine, we are reminded of our Lord’s having practiced this right up until the last supper where He explained the meaning of the elements and established Covenant Communion for us.

SENDING EMAIL PROBLEM

For 5 days I have received, but not been able to send emails.

So, one of our young media gurus suggested I write this blog.

Take a picture of it on my phone.

They will retype and send.

How great to have these young techies to think outside the box.

Another Technical Problem

Another technical problem arose while I have been away.

As I understand it has to do with our going onto a new server.

The really challenging thing was that you, our partners, were not able to send offerings online. I believe you are able to contribute online now.

When I am away for long periods as I have been recently, we do not receive honorariums, etc. which come from my traveling ministry, so this technical glitch added to the challenge and affected our income with which we serve the Lord.

So, I just decided to do something I don’t like to do in my blogs.

And that is to receive an offering.

If you are so led, it would be a great blessing, especially to our General Account (which covers so much of our ministry) if you would contribute in a special offering either by one of the media ways, or by sending an offering to the Lord through us at:

Just mark it: Sister Billye’s Offering Request from Jerusalem

Thank you, so much.

I will see you June 17 at our Third Sunday Healing and Miracle Service with Sister Alice Solic. Her own healing is one of the most powerful testimonies I have ever heard.

Shalom, Shalom from Jerusalem

Sister Billye, we just want to thank you and Shelli for a blessed and wonderful tour of Israel, May 26-June 6. It is hard to say what was the best of the tour, as there are so many highlights. Certainly the water baptism on the Jordan was a highlight, praying at the Western wall and the new excavation, up in the Golan Heights with Rani and your friend at the kibbutz Misgav Am, meeting locals (Etti) at the sidewalk cafe in Ariel and Ramsey in the Inbal Hotel, your many teachings and Shelli’s delightful spirit, communion at the Garden Tomb and the many kindred spirits we met on the group tour that we will never forget, including Guy and Ari!! Mt. Hebron, Shiloh, the Sea of Galilee, Mt. Carmel, Atlit, the list goes on…Thank you, Thank you!!
Now, we will expect to see you and Shelli in St. Joseph, MO for some powerful authority teaching and end time teaching at Life Church. I will contact your assistant, Lynne, for scheduling. God Bless you and Shelli! We are believing the best is yet to come for the Migdal Arbel Conference Center!!

The new web page is beautiful but a bit hard to find things. I still have not found archived prayer meetings and The Prophetic Witness ? I am at a loss? Help, please!

      Dear Sandie,
Thank you for your comments. We are working on making the web site easy to find everything. We are still working on adding the archives and The Prophetic Witness and will hopefully have everything done as soon as possible.
We want to thank you for your patience with this process. Blessings Jan

      Dear Ruthmarie,
The tours are usually in late May and early June but the dates are not set yet so it could change. Watch for the dates on our web site probably after the first of the year. Blessings Jan
