Land For Peace: A Century of Failure

by Rani Levy

This book is intended to serve as a serious review of the dangers of the Land for Peace culture which has taken over the way people of the world, as well as Israeli governments in early and even modern times perceived possible solutions to achieving lasting peace or stability in the Middle East. This abbreviated walk through the pages of history will show how, at each juncture of a diplomatic round, the Jews were always the ones who had to concede and once again relinquish portions of their historic and beloved land. It outlines the results of one hundred years of concessions which became the foundation, or even the cause, for the next war. It is time to question the compromises which were made, excercises which sadly became the starting point and the baseline, for any diplomatic dialogue. Too many serious people are searching for a solution. As long as they believe, or pretend to believe, that Land for Peace is the answer, peace will remain remote, and political correctness will continue to pose great dangers for Israel.
